State Tax Filing
Hello,
I understand that PA and NJ have a reciprocal tax agreement. Since I live in PA, work in NJ, and had all my income taxes withheld and remitted to PA, I should only need to file a Pennsylvania tax return. However, I am confused because my W-2 has "NJ FLI" and "NJ SUI" in Box 14. From my research, it seems correct that the Family Leave Insurance and Unemployment Insurance get remitted to the state where my employer is located (NJ). My question is, since these are in Box 14 on my W-2, am I required to file a NJ non-resident tax return?
